Winchester Legacy Gen. 2 College~1.2
So Neil was pickpocketed. He said he was at the library studying, (that boy wasn’t in there studying) when this guy came up to him.
“Hey, hey! What’s crackin’ my friend?”
“Uh…hey!”
“What’s going on?”
“Nothing much.” Neil said the guy sort of freaked him out to begin with because he was all up in his personal space. My family is close but we respect everyone’s personal space as well ya know? That’s their space! You just don’t step into it without permission or an invitation. Anyways, Neil said he tried to duck away.
“Dude, dude! You want to see something amazing.”
“Could you step back please?”
“Oh sure, friend. I just want to show you this amazing thing. I bet you’ve never seen it before.”
“What it is?”
Neil said the guy wanted to show him a slight of hand trick that he guaranteed would blow everyone’s mind. While he was waving his hands in the air and leaning in closer and closer, Neil said he kept shifting away. He didn’t even feel the man go in his back pocket and steal the money that Neil had stashed back there. §150. Why in the world would Neil be carrying that much money around in his back pocket? On second thought…where did Neil get that much money from? I know I was scrambling for money after I brought my books and everything else, so what the hell? And he can’t give me a little?
Idiot!
Anyways, the morale of the story is don’t be an idiot and carry a wad of cash in your back pocket and then let some guy who looks like he escaped from a masquerade ball get close to you.
I can’t BELIEVE he didn’t lend me any money. I could just choke him.
Anyways, I guess he wasn’t too ate up about the money being taken. Or maybe he switched to the thought of “love makes the world go ’round” philosophy. Whatever it was, he burst into my room a few days later.
“Gai! I am in love!” he said as he fell back on my bed with a goofy grin on his face.
“Yes, I know. You told me that about a month ago.” I was distracted with trying to figure out the counter-spell for getting rid of the roaches whenever I appeared. I mean…there had to be a counter spell right? I couldn’t just keep carrying a can of Raid in my pocket and spraying whenever I landed. I had to think of the environment.
He stacked his hands behind his head and wiggled around on the bed until he found a comfortable position. “No, I mean I’m really in love.”
Heaving a sigh I closed the spellbook and walked over to the bed. Nudging him, he moved over and I laid next to him as I waited patiently for him to stop sighing and staring at the ceiling with a silly grin.
“You ever been in love Gai?”
“Nope, can’t say I have.”
“It’s amazing. Your heart beats fast, you get all sweaty and your stomach feels like it’s in knots when you see that person.”
“Sounds like a virus to me.”
He kicked me lightly and I nudged him back with my shoulder. He laughed.
“Nah man…it’s…it’s…hard to explain.”
“Who’s the lucky girl”
“Monica!”
Oh for pete’s sake! I slowly turned my head to stare at him. I tried to bite my tongue, I really did, but it didn’t work.
“You’re an idiot,” I snapped.
He blinked owlishly at me. “What?”
“That girl doesn’t care about you. She only cares about what’s in your pants. Do you ever spend any time with her outside of having sex? Noooo!” I snapped before he could answer. “Ugh!”
Sitting up, I tossed my hands in the air. “Just what is with you Neil? Were you always this dumb or is your brain leaking out of your penis?”
He made some choking sound but I didn’t stick around to hear whatever else he had to say. I decided to head out to a little hole in the wall place that I had found.
It’s not alcohol, so you can stop giving me that disapproving look Mr. Photographer. It’s just a cranberry juice cocktail. But I wish it was something a little stronger. Neil and his stupid choices just make me so angry! I feel like I’m the older sibling trying to get him to see logic instead of the other way around. I’m too young to be so stressed ya know? But cranberry juice is good for you and it did calm my nerves. Somewhat. When the guy slide up next to me at the bar, I only just shook my head when he asked me to dance instead of biting his head off.
Oh god! Am I turning into Val? I hope not. Maybe I’m just letting out all the pent up anger I had has a child flow out now. How very Zen of me right? Shaking my head I carefully placed the glass down on the napkin and stared down into it. Maybe I shouldn’t have been so harsh with Neil but I didn’t want him to get hurt. I knew Monica would rip him to shreds if he let her. And then he’d be brokenhearted just like his dad.
Heaving a sigh, I pushed back from the bar and headed toward the door. I should probably go and apologize.
“Hey! Gai isn’t it? You’re in my Psych class I think. How are you?”
Startled I turned to see a vaguely familiar kid grinning at me. “Um…hey!”
He laughed. “I’m Taylor. I didn’t expect to see you in here.”
“What do you mean?” I asked crossing my arms.
He shrugged. “You see like you keep to yourself and what not. Hey, I’m just stating an observation,” he said with a laugh as he tossed up his hands.
I realized that I was glaring at him and a sheepish smile crossed my own face. “Sorry. I’m not good in social situations.”
“Yeah, I can understand that. Can I buy you another drink?”
“Uhh…”
“The correct response is usually a yes. Come on, live a little Gai. That’s what college is all about.”
“I was under the impression that college is where you went to, ya know, get a higher education.” I grinned and he winked at me.
“Well, that too I suppose.”
As the night progressed I met more and more of his friends and we just hung out. I guess this is what I had been missing in college. Just hanging out with people instead of always being buried in books. It was kinda fun. Before I knew it the hours had flown by and I suddenly realized that I had finals in a few hours.
“Crap! I gotta go!” Waving at everyone over my shoulder I raced back to the dorm to shower and change, then headed to class.
Dean’s List again! Neil made it too. I haven’t talked to him yet but I will. I can’t leave things hanging unsaid between us.
I couldn’t even celebrate the end of my freshman year. I was so tired from last night all I wanted to do was go to sleep!
Yay!! Freshman no more!
Now get outta here. I gotta eat this sandwich and then I’m going to bed. Catch you later.
Writer’s Notes: Neil rolled the want to enroll in the Art major so that’s his current major. And all that boy did was want to WooHoo any and everything. And for whatever reason, he always had a cheering section! O_o I also got that idea for Neil and the girls from a guy I was talking to at work. Apparently situations like that really do work. Huh! Who knew????
Gai rolled the want to be turned into a witch and Joanne was the only witch she knew soo….I had her spend time with her. Only to realize that it wasn’t going to work because Gai is a clean freak and she was always mad about the roaches. ALWAYS! And I’m using this overlay for my witches/warlocks. It’s awesome! Bottom of the page. Also using her mod for the genie skin(If I ever get a genie!)
First theft by the Unsavory Charlatan. Neil’s faces killed me.
And Gai was exhausted from hanging out at the community lot all night and half of the day. By the time I had her go home it was time for her exams so…yeah! That explains the last pic! Sorry for this shorter update. The next one will be small too because we’re going back to see Tonya, Dane and Alice! YAY!

*laugh* I know. I had one of my sims get his pick-pocketed as well, and it’s absolutely hilarious to watch! They look so freaked out! Absolutely cracks me up!
Poor Gai. She’s stressing. It’s good that she went out and relaxed for a little while. Even if it was before finals. ^_^
Anyways, can’t wait to see what Toni, Dane, and Alice have been up to!
