Winchester Legacy 2.2

Before we all knew it Neil’s birthday had rolled around again. Carla and her parents were over and they were happy enough to help us surprise Neil with a cake. He looked at the cake and then looked around the room.

“Where’s Dane?”

“He had to work sweetie! Don’t worry! I’m sure he’ll get you something extra special for your birthday.” Neil had been hinting rather strongly that he wanted a PS3 and Dane said he knew a place where he could get a discount. I told him in no uncertain terms that he was NOT going to get Neil hot property.

“Well, when you put it like that it sounds bad,” he had grumbled.

I shook my head and noticed that Neil was still staring at his cake. I tooted the little horn. “Aren’t you going to blow out the candles?”

He darted a look my way before he cleared his throat. “Is my dad not coming?”

“Oh honey,” I said. “Your dad-”

“It’s okay mom,” he said quickly. “I’m not a baby anymore right?” Saying that he blew out the candles on his cake.

“YAY!!! Cake!!” Val and Carla tossed their arms around each other before they scrambled for plates. I just stared at my little boy. My first born. He was a teenager now. Before I knew it he’d be heading to college and then he’d be an adult! I swallowed hard to fight the tears as I walked over and ruffled his hair. He grinned up at me.

“Check it out mom! Listen to my voice. It’s all manly now!”

Bending down I pressed a kiss to his forehead. “Yes, I hear that! You’re going to be sweeping the girls off their feet before you know it.”

His grinned widened. “You know it!” he said before cutting his cake.

I looked behind me when I heard the sound of unsteady feet. Gai grinned at me before she tumbled and crawled the rest of the way to her bear.

This is just a show off picture! I can’t help it. The photographer is no help either showing me all these pictures of the kids. Like take the next few for example. I think everyone’s gotten so used to having her around they forget about her. Otherwise I don’t think he would have done this.

“Yeah baby! Who’s your daddy?” Neil drawled as he stared at himself in the mirror. He clicked his teeth and winked at himself. Gai had followed after him apparently and was staring at him with a confused look on her face as he pointed his index finger at the mirror.

“You, me, my place. Tonight! I’ll get some wine, all you have to do is bring your fine self. Rawr!”

Of course, he is his father’s son.

Writer’s Notes: Every FREAKIN body wanted to talk about marriage in this update. Like seriously. Neil and Val? The first thing they started talking about. When I had Toni go sit down Neil quickly had that new thought bubble which I thought was hilarious. The headmaster as well. The FIRST thing he did when they sat down was bring that up. And since Toni wanted both Neil and Val in private school she went into aspiration failure since that was two of her fears.

Gai is adorable yes? I don’t think any of the kids turned out too bad huh? I was worried because I know how jacked up they can come out looking! *shudders*

Val really did snatch back that toy! That was the first time I’ seen that! I thought it was funny…and mean at the same time.

I rolled for Neil’s aspiration and he’s a Romance Sim.

And yes, that was my lame attempt at building but since they have to stay on the same lot, per legacy rules, I don’t know how I can get a new house so I’ll be experimenting as well.
