Thank God for that! Mom is not the most mechanical person in the world. Although she did want to know why they would give her a mechanical point instead of money. Sometimes other people really do know best ya know? In mom’s case they really, REALLY did! You guys know how awful mom is at fixing stuff.

Dad finally finished his book and with a lot of encouragement from us sent it off. One night we heard a knock on the door and I went to answer. A man handed me a book, with dad’s name on it in huge letters, then tipped his hat and headed back to his truck.

“Dad! Dad! I think this is the first copy of your book!”

“What?” Grabbing it he stared down at the cover with a weird look on his face then he shook his head. “We’ll just have to see how well it does in the general public now won’t we?”

“Cheer up dad! I read it didn’t I? I would have told you if it was crap!”

“Why you little brat!” Laughing he put me into a headlock.

A few weeks later dad’s book was on the best seller’s list. We all couldn’t have been prouder.

Well, this is the last update for me for awhile. I really have to buckle down at school. I only have three classes I have to take for the next school year so I’m thinking I might head to Uni earlier. I know that we’re supposed to go and see Gai and Neil sometime soon so I’m sure you’ll see more of me. Ya know, I think this actually did me some good. I feel like I’ve grown as a person. And who knows? Maybe this time next year I’ll be getting nice and cozy with Jerrod! Ciao!

Writer’s notes: I think I have a glitch. Donna still hasn’t had her puppies even th0ugh I checked insim(no, I didn’t cheat!!) to see if she was pregnant. The only option there was give birth! What in the world? *shrug*

The Sims I made kept popping up all over the place in this update didn’t they? I had almost panned away from Jerrod and Alice when I saw her start dancing…all by herself. LMAO!! That had me cracking up. She must really like him huh? And yeah, Tonya and Dane were going at it in the diner. And what’s up with the waitress? That’s the first time I’ve EVER seen that! Granted I didn’t start spending a lot of time at community lots until now. Gross! Just gross!

Everyone was racking up promotions too! Woot!!

Val showed up alot as well. She only seemed to want to scare Alice though. I guess some things never change huh?

And I didn’t think that Alice was going to win the dance contest. That was awesome! The faces she was making were awesome. The whole thing was just awesome!! hahaha!!! Good times there! Her face in that last shot just says everything and look at everyone else! HA! In your FACE!!

And how come I didn’t know that dogs could sing along? I seriously thought something was wrong until I moused over her image in the the corner and read that it said: ‘Sing along’. Too funny!! I thought that was great!

I had a lot of fun with the family. Now it’s back to Neil and Gai…but of course they’ll be inviting the ‘rents and Alice over for one big family get together. Fun, fun ahead!!
