Yeah, everything’s better, my iMac at work stopped working just before I started a two day vac, so I spent the 4 days I was off worrying, but now I’m back at work and everything’s working out fine, tho the Mac has to get fixed.

Goopy’s in Pleasntview, he’s a fixed townie like Meadow Thayer. I don’t think he’s in every hood, but the only other hood I’ve played is Riverblossom so I can’t say for sure.

Yeah, when I first got the game I played a few maxis character and then I became enthralled with CAS! LOL! Since then I’ve never played any of the original crew! It’s fun to play them though.

Which hood is Goopy in or is he one of the townies that is in EVERY hood?

I somehow missed this on Thursday, but I sure wish I’d found it, I really could have used it. I’ve laughed through the entire thing. Phoenix, you do this so well, it’s beyond enjoyable.

Fortunately, I’ve never really stopped playing with the Maxis characters (except a very short time when I first started SoM). I love them, but I *think* Goopy wears shorts, the guy with the kilt has darker skin.

Yeah, it never works for me either! For one I usually forget the pose I was thinking about and for two it just doesn’t look as good as I remember!

Geneva needs a good slap. I’m not sure Dalston would do it, though. Florian certainly would, but unfortunately, he’s a peasant, so I don’t imagine he regularly associates with the queen.

I always thought Brandon Lillard was the kilt wearer. Oh well, I’ll trust you, Pen, since you know waaaaaaay more about the Maxis sims than I do. Plus there’s the fact that I don’t really have a Goopy Gilscarbo in either of my two main neighborhoods–he’s been SimPE’d into Clone Severin and Clone Aurius. Ugly townies and NPCs in Naroni and Ashelia have been investing a ton in plastic surgery since I got SimPE. They must have horrible self-esteem issues

Lol. I still haven’t messed up Strangetown, though. My little bro likes to play Strangetown on the rare occasion I let him within three feet of my computer, so maybe I’ll just leave it for him. I’m sure I’ll regret that though–at least when I mess up Maxis neighborhoods, I have sort of a storyline in my head. Maybe that’s because I’ll never really be able to isolate Sims from storytelling now

Yep, no definite ending for Naroni. It goes until either I can no longer find a computer that runs Sims 2, or I die. I’m hoping by the 5th generation, there will be at least one person with all 16 original founders as great-great-grandparents.

And yep, Ashelia is going to be the first in a trilogy, although my co-author might not like that. I’m actually thinking about asking her if she wants me to take over fully for a while–unfortunately, she’s going through a rough time right now
