The Sims 2 and The Sims 3
Two Sims and a House
Technically that should read A house and Two Sims since that’s the order I created it in but…*shrug* It sounded better the way I have it! LOL! I was bored and restless and needing to think about some things and so, me being me, I booted up my game to think around the situation. If I think too hard on something without coming up with a solution I ended up doing something half baked and throwing everything off. And this is completely random and rambley(is that even a word?!!) and so NOT what you thought you were getting if/when you clicked the link. So…
I built a house! Shut up! Pick your jaws off the floor. Y’all know I can’t build for crap but like I said…and besides I’ve been looking at some gorgeous picspam on LJ and it sorta inspired me to give it a go. It’s not brilliant or perfect but I think it’s kinda cool being that I actually spent HOURS working on it! LOL! Anywho….

The house. Obviously! Two stories. 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Off to the side there is a guesthouse that isn’t furnished so ignore it for now. I thought I was going to move the Lexfords(my genetic babies) in here but the more I worked on it the less it seemed like theirs.
First Floor:

Foyer. I couldn’t find any pictures that I wanted to put up there. I kept putting them up and taking them down. Grr! So it’s semi-bare for now.

Kitchen/dining area. I’m going to use all the features of all the freakn’ EPs and SPs I have! Seriously! What’s the point of having them if I don’t. Hence why you see the juicer there. Garden time!
Master bedroom. It’s on the first floor. Can’t have the kids sneaking out.

Study nook. It’s not in the picture but there’s also a piano in the room as well as a computer.
Second Floor:

Boy’s room. I saw that poster and HAD to use it for the boy’s room!
Another angle of his room. TV, guitar, chess table. All he needs is a mini-fridge and he’ll be set!

Girl’s room and/or artist room. This is my favorite room!
Different angle. I love that bed! Why didn’t I have that bed earlier?

If someone decides to spend the night they actually have someplace to sleep! I hate those pop ups when they complain about that!

Some shade and a playground equipment if there’s some kids. And like I said that little guest house is empty so ignore it. It’s not there. It’s all in your IMAGINATION!!!

Thanks S.B. It took me a few hours. Mainly because I kept switching out wallpapers and flooring…good times!
THANK YOU! That’s my favorite room as well! And those two girls!? Gah! I was grinning while taking the pics!
I know*hides face in shame!* But I was just being lazy! *sigh* But one of my resolutions is to see what this game has to offer. And that includes BS. I’m going to try recoloring and things like that! Dun, dun, dun!!
Aww! Thanks!
I’m glad! That makes me happy!

That mural in the girls room is stunning. You should make houses more often. I think you pulled off the subdivision look really well.

I KNOW! When I saw it I had to have it! Not to mention all the other stuff that I saw on the website as well! Gah!
Oh!
Thanks!
I was looking at tutorials on how to attach garages. Maybe I’ll tackle a house like that next! Thanks again!
That means a lot!
