A Genetic Experiment

So, instead of doing something constructive yesterday/today*cough*update*cough*, I started something new. More for my own interest than anything else. S.B. and I were talking the other day about genetics and how it impacts her and Gayl’s story(all their characters are so unique looking and born in game!). And, yes, I did just provide a link to one of their stories so, why don’t you just click and check it out? Just saying!
Anyways, genetics don’t really affect my stories. At all. RG characters were all made in CAS(except for the twins and that’s a WHOLE other story!). I spent maybe twenty minutes, tops, on each character. Ty was easiest. I rolled the pacifier a few times for him and I was done. LT characters were the same. Julius was the same as Ty. Rolled the pacifier a few times and called it a day. Yeah, I’m uber lazy I guess when it comes to making characters. So, I decided to try a genetic experiment with two Sims that I had laying around in BS. Delia was supposed to be for an upcoming chapter in RG but…she just wasn’t fitting in like I wanted. I kept using all this crazy CC on her but I liked the look of her too much to just toss her so she stayed. Sean was just me trying not to give him scars and/or tats as is my custom with my guys. I think he looks kinda weird but meh…So, I decided to mesh these two Sims together and see what I get. They’re in the same hood as the Winchesters so who knows what could happen which is why I’m putting this here!
A little commentary(after this LONG paragraph) and funky angles. Fun, fun so click the fake cut!

This is what Delia looks like in my BS. See, she was going to be semi-important but…I ended up loving the funky hair and clothes that I never really get to use.

Close up.

Sean is such a pretty boy it’s sickening. I caved and gave him some facial scruff though. I do like his lips for some odd reason and I made his eyes slightly bigger than I normally do. It’s not noticeable though.

Frontal view.

Del wasn’t liking what the landlady was saying. I never really use apartments so I figured why not?

I ♥ that pose for some reason.

This one too. Look at her legs. That timid step forward…

I always think of Shakespeare every time one of my Sims starts scrubbing.

Profile views.

Old boy in the background looks as if he has OCD, or some sort of compulsive disorder.

I swear to GOD if I hadn’t made him I’d think he was a butch chick. It’s freaking me out.

He looks manly here.

I NEVER get to use those eyes! I might regret that I used them later though…don’t think they’re recessive.

Well, well! Look who showed up! Beatrice! Non plantsim Beatrice. I forgot how pretty I thought she was.

Yaaaay genetics!! That reminds me, I need to fix a few of my sims. I actually gave this one guy custom hair in CAS because he’s a priest and I didn’t think he’d be having kids… except apparently he’s a naughty priest, so I now have to fix both him and his two offspring. D’oh!
Heheh… I have to agree with you about that guy. Oh well, at least his girl thinks he’s hot stuff
Those kids sure are cute

LOL!! I was thinking of you as well since you’re all about genetics in your game. Ohhh….a naughty priest? Wicked!!!
Oh gosh! Some of the faces he was pulling! He just looks…maybe it’s the hair. Maybe I’ll switch it out tonight and give him a more masculine edge! And she does! They’re always blowing hearts over each other!
Thanks Van!

OMG this was so much fun! I had no idea you made all your characters in CAS. I definitely couldn’t tell!
The ghostly white baby syndrome…I’ve seen that before and have no idea what causes it. Freddy is adorable, and a lot less pale when he grows out of infanthood! It’s hard to tell who he looks more like, the eyes are so overwhelming wonderful, but it’s almost a perfect mix of both parents. Sunny is amazing! I do think she looks like her mom, although the skin color can be deceptive.
Just one big AWWWWW……
And hey, thanks for the link!!!

It was! It really was! Yep! CAS made until I finally figured out what Bodyshop did! The first BS character I made was…Tonya I think! Wow!
Yeah man! What IS that? Blah! But yeah, he does turn out cuter as he ages! Let’s keep our fingers crossed that he’ll stay that way!
Yeah, I was looking at that too. I think I’m going to have to line everyone up like you did once they age up to teens. Sunny is pretty. I think I’ll see a difference once I switch hair.
LOL!! Thanks Beth! And no worries!!

Aww those eyes on a baby are adorable. Absolutely adorable. And that father is a stud. Though with that hair he totally does look like a lesbian with no boobs. But the stubble was nice! Cant wait to see the kids grow up.
And its totally cool to see you doing stuff again. Its been a while. At least since I’ve read anything excluding the weapon of choice stories.

At first they freaked me out but they grew on me!
I gotta admit Sean did grow on me but I think I’m going to switch his hair and see how that goes!
Lesbian with no boobs! *snicker*
Haha! Thanks Sinclair! Yeah, I’ve been pretty quiet on this blog for the most part! Sorry!

I don’t know a lot about genetics and all that in the Sims world but I think I read somewhere that with genetic skins, it is possible to get a skin tone “within the range” of the parents. Not sure that makes sense…but this was a cute experiment.

I don’t either Gayl so no worries! It totally makes sense! It seems as if Freddy’s skin did grow a smidge darker as he aged! Or maybe it’s wishful thinking! haha!
Thanks!
I’m having fun!
