New Townies: Part Deux
So, it appears that I’m on a roll with body shop yes? Nope! I was just waiting for my MP3 player to charge so I could write another chapter!
I have three Sims for your viewing pleasure! 2 teens and an alien adult. One of these days I’m going to put these little beasties somewhere for everyone to download. For now…
First up is Frank Rivers. With the shirt I couldn’t resist using this action.
Of course, I didn’t realize that it was all of that! LOL! He’s a teen! Hopefully one of the kids will bring him home from school and I can age him up for Uni! He looks like he has potential yes?
This pose made me realize that he might not be intended for a female teen. *cough* He’s so meterosexual here.
And he has skills! Look at the intense face. So focused.
Now he just looks confused. LOL!!
Erin Rivers. She’s just chilling in the chair with her trucker hat.
Thinking about shooting some hoops. She has the skills. …at least she will if she ever gets around to being played.
Now she just reminds me of the stereotypical trucker. She looks like she’s about to spit out some tobacco or something.
No, no! She would NEVER spit out any tobacco. I love the range of emotions they can go through in such a small span of time.

She is in the zone. Erin has a lot of potential. But since she is a teen I didn’t want to make her look like she was about twenty. And there are only so many options you can go with. She’s not wearing any make-up either. I think she turned out pretty good. And I know she’ll make a gorgeous adult since I…eh…aged her up to see. LOL! I was thinking of Lucy Lui when I was making her. Not to say that she’s supposed to look like Lucy. Just that some of her features reminded me of her. Anywho…
Valencia Rivers. I never get a chance to use that skin. I love the shade.

Skills? She has them. Her facial expression killed me.
Bet YOU can’t do that. I wanted to show her profile…and her ears! LOL! Elf ears make me happy! LOTR rocked because of the elves, and Aragon, and the hobbits and…well LOTR just rocked period.
I like her without hair but of course she’d probably look good with hair as well. She has the black alien eyes that I can never get in game! Of course I’ve never tried that hard so we shall see.
Seriously though…when anyone want to download any of the Sims I’ve made so far? Some of them are off limits such as Kaylee and Ty(for the most part. I might upload them for certain people) because….well I’m atttached to them and it would freak me out to see them in other stories not doing what I want them to! But let me know because my girl Emily just opened a new blog which can be found here and that’s probably where I’ll dump Sims. And yes, I did just do a little plug for her!

*blushes* Thanks Van! Since I’ve just discovered boy shop(yes, JUST discovered body shop) thanks to a few friends(Big ups Cherie and Emily!) I love going in there and just playing around. LOL!! That would be awesome!
NO!! No your bro didn’t let someone borrow your LOTR set?!! I’d have to kick some butt! LOL!! I have the collector’s edition sitting on my shelf in it’s own little box right next to the books!

I’ve never tried to breed aliens, so I’m not entirely sure. I should attempt that sometime.
Body shop doesn’t work for me
My game is sooooo bugged Yeah, I have the collector’s edition of Fellowship of the Ring, but just the normal DVDs of the other two because cheapskatery runs in my family. And yeah, my brother better get them back before August, because I’m moving and I want to take those DVDs with me

For some reason my body shop is acting up right now. I just had an image of a character and wanted to do a quick townie but it won’t open. I keep getting a pop up message. I probably have to restart the computer or something! What do you mean your game is bugged?!
LOL!! I just got them all at the same time. The whole boxed set thing. Amazon is my bestest friend!

Well, my game is the product of a torrent file, so there are a ton of things wrong with it:
1. Body shop doesn’t work
2. Teens don’t remember learning how to study
3. In some neighborhoods, if two people relax on the same bed, they immediately both appear standing on either side of the bed, regardless of their relationship
4. The grim reaper does not appear, only his scythe
5. There are no job uniforms, sims go to work in their casual clothesAnd I’m pretty sure I’m forgetting a few more, but you get the idea
Niiiiiiiice. Amazon = love, but I gots no credit cards
I’m moving to Vancouver for university. Not sure whether or not I’ll stay out there after I’m done, though.

Oh! Oh wow!! Yeah, I totally catch the drift!! LOL!! Well, for the longest time I was using CAS. I think Roxxie, Beatrice and Toni are the first body shop Sims I created and played so I don’t see anything wrong with CAS! Please I LOVE the look of your Sims anyways!
Ohhh….keep it that way!!! LOL!! I wish I had never started using credit cards! Right now I’m just using my debit card!
Man, I’ve always wanted to visit Canada. Whatcha taking up at Uni?

I’m so used to CAS by this point that it would probably be weird using bodyshop. I have used it, though, when I briefly installed my friend’s copy of Deluxe on my machine, long before Naroni was ever dreamed of. I used it to recolor Maxis objects (Arydath’s eyes are a recolor I made, which is why hers are the only ones that haven’t gotten any nicer since the Great Reskinning) and to make a few sims which I used to make a lot of mine from.
I’m taking creative writing and drama. Naturally, my family is thrilled to know that I’ll never be out of work *cough*
When visiting Canada, it’s crucial to choose the right province. BC is nice. Saskatchewan is the most boring place ever. Alberta is okay for me, since I’ve lived here all my life, but I can’t imagine it being much fun for visitors, unless they came during Stampede.

I just like throwing stuff together that I rarely get to use in my game that I’ve downloaded! As for the teleporter go here: Teleporter I don’t know what you have up to but that’s the basic teleporter page. You make the Sims that you want, find the teleporter in Deco/sculptures and buy it. Then there’s an option of make me a townie(you can even make downtownies). Click on that and the person is now a townie. I always click the clear off option as well to make sure I got it right. It sounds more difficult than it is…or rather I wrote it sound more difficult! Either way if you have any questions just ask!
Yep, I did change the templates. I don’t think it changes your existing people. Only the ones that you create/children are affected. Don’t quote me on that! Okay, you can…I just did a quick search and it won’t mess up your pre-existing Sims!

Good to know! I saw some awesome face templates at…I think it was GoS…anyway I want them but I get scared to throw things into my game. I will try it though. I can always take them out if it doesn’t work right. I also think there is a thread at MATY about some of the templates that are missing? I start reading those threads and my eyes glaze over. LOL!
But thank you!!! I have everything except Mansion and Gardens.

Love all the pictures…
I love Erin, she is beautiful, I really like the form of her eyes… and the color as well!!!
Where do you get the face templates and also the default eyes… my townies and default sims have very ugly eyes…. they are really very dark, no matter what color they are, they always look way too dark… kind of like alien like….
anyway wonderful townies, very unique, and their personalities comes throughout the pictures!! Wonderful!-

The default eyes are from Gos which can be found here: Yumedust Eyes.
Hmm…I don’t know why the eyes would be dark unless you have two sets of defaults maybe?

To get alien eyes in the game, turn on “boolprop testingcheatsenabled true” on a lot (theoretically, in the neighborhood screen it should also work, but I’ve never tried that), then go into CAS without turning it off and the alien eyes and skintone will be there, as well as Maxis NPC outfits.
Phoenix, you have mad sim-making skills. I’m jealous. But I’m happy you might put them up for download one day. I can have their distant, identical ancestors running around Naroni
And LOTR rocks. I just wish my idiot brother would get his idiot friend to give back my copies of Two Towers and Return of the King
